Our school is continuing to work towards becoming an eSmart school, promoting respectful behaviours – both on and offline – to reduce bullying and cyberbullying.

What are the 3 Cs for Cybersafety?

Content: being exposed to illegal, inappropriate or harmful material

Contact: being subjected to harmful online interaction with other users

Conduct: personal online behaviour that increases the likelihood of, or causes, harm

The Office of the Children’s eSafety Commissioner website has an excellent resource called iParent. This resource includes multimedia reviews, information about online risks, tips to keep your children safe and information about online safegaurds. The resource also contains a lot of information about the big issues parents face in the ever changing nature of the internet and technology as well as a downloadable Parent’s Guide to Online Safety booklet.

You can find the iParent resource at: https://esafety.gov.au/education-resources/iparent
